(More customer reviews)For the most part this is a nice little machine, with simple enough instructions for programming. When trained your clerks can handle it without too much diffuculty, and it's nice to have a thermal printer. It's touch screen is a little "touchy" (pun intended), and it is easy to press the wrong key if you aren't paying attention or if you have long nails. My female clerks have had trouble with it, although the men didn't seem to have a problem. It is somewhat limited due to it's designers inability to forsee real world applications other than restaurant or a narrow range of retail uses. For example, it has no "minus" or "negative" function to back out voids, once the sale is rung you must correct any voids by hand. Further, all the programming instructions and examples revolve around preset pricing, and Royal support is NONEXISTENT. If you're able to program a register you shouldn't have too much trouble setting this one up, but don't expect any help from Royal.
