I must've shopped at least 8 or 10 stores on foot - nobody had what I needed. I guess nobody else thinks of the elderly trying to use a cordless phone with those teeny-tiny little buttons. The buttons are also light-up, marked very boldly, and they have braille. Also the entire unit is larger than your average cordless unit - very comfortable and secure in an older, arthritic hand. It also vibrates and lights up very nearly like a pinball machine when it rings - all excellent qualities for an older person. Great product!
