Canon PIXMA MP800 All In One Photo Printer Review

Canon PIXMA MP800 All In One Photo Printer
Average Reviews:

I purchased the mp800 to replace my Lexmark X-85 "INK GOBBLER" because I got tired of not being able to refill the ink successfully and paying through the nose for replacement ink cartridges. The Lex X-85 was over three years old and I was ready for a better printer that new technology had to offer.
I am very pleased with the MP800. It's printing quality and speed is excellent for this caliber of printer. Most of the photos I have printed are on "Jet Print" professional photo paper which has worked well. I have yet to purchase some Canon Photo Paper Pro and try it. I did however print one 4x6 photo from the included pack of Canon Photo Paper Pro that came with the printer. The photo quality was amazing!
Regarding the refilling of the ink cartridges: I purchased the 5 ink refill kit from re-inks.com for $60.00. the kit has enough ink for about 12 refills of per cartridge.
The printer is smart enough to know that you are using refilled ink cartridges but it allows you to continue with a warning that Canon may not be responsible for damage.
once you get past the warning the printer asks you to press the stop/reset button for 5 seconds and the printer will continue to print using the refilled cartridge but when you view the Ink Status Monitor it shows the ink tank level as empty.
So in the future you will have to manually remove the cartridge to view it's ink quality. This is easy to do because Canon's ink tanks are Clear Plastic!
This simple reset procedure is required each time the printer detects a refilled cartridge. I suspect that once all 5 cartridges have been "released" from ink detection, it might not ask you again to go through the reset process again. I haven't got there yet. Thanks canon for leaving the Ink Refill Door Open! Hope this info helps. Scott

The advanced PIXMA MP800 Photo All-In-One delivers spectacular Print Copy-Scan performance. It produces an amazing resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 color dpi, for remarkable detail and clarity. To achieve this, Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,584-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as one picoliter. The result? Smoother, virtually grain-free images. Also, our ContrastPLUS five-color ink system--four dye-based inks and a pigment-based black ink--produces true-life photos with a wide color palette, along with laser-quality text. What about speed? A 4"x 6" photo lab quality borderless photo takes approximately 36 seconds.
When copying, the AE (Auto Exposure) Copy feature automatically optimizes reproduction quality based on the type of original you're duplicating. The convenient Photo/Film buttons allow you to make reprints of your photos and 35mm film without using your computer. And now, scanning: The unit's higher-resolution CCD technology enables you to produce exceptional 2,400-dpi scans, with vibrant 48-bit color depth. You can simultaneously scan up to six frames of 35mm film (negatives or positives), or up to four mounted slides. Plus, advanced paper handling features are built in - such as two paper trays and two-sided printing.
Want to evaluate and enhance your images before printing? Just insert your compatible memory card into one of the built-in card slots, then select the images on the extra-large 3.5" LCD color viewer. As needed, images will be automatically enhanced for red eye, sharpness and brightness values, or you can fine tune the images yourself using the easy control panel. Then, print directly from the memory card! As an option, you can print directly from a PictBridge-ready device such as a digital camera.
The Canon ChromaLife100 system combines the PIXMA MP800 Photo All-In-One's FINE print head technology and newly developed inks with select Canon photo papers, with results rivaling that of many conventional photos. And with the new smart LED ink tanks, your LED lamp flashes when ink is running low, and flashes even faster when nearing empty.
What's in the Box: PIXMA MP800 Photo All-in-One, PIXMA MP800 print head, ink tanks: PGI-5Bk Black, CLI-8 (black, cyan, magenta, yellow), power cord, easy setup instructions, documentation kit, Canon Photo Paper Pro for Borderless Printing 4" x 6" sample pack

Lexmark P4350 Color All-in-One Photo Printer Review

Lexmark P4350 Color All-in-One Photo Printer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I own 3 printers. I love my all-in-one. It's so easy to use. Excellant product for the price. The downsides! Its big and doesn't fit on a standard PC desk. The photos I printed were not as pretty as the ones I print with my cheaper Lexmark Z715. So, I'm keeping that one for photos. I use my Z23 on my older (kids) PC. Lexmark printers are dependable and easy to understand. I don't know how customer service is because, I've never needed them.
Lexmark does have a bad rep at work. Were constantly having problems with it. It's a larger business size. We recently got a refurbished one. I think the problem lies with my company being cheap and not with Lexmark products.

Uniden Long Range Cordless Telepohone with Digital Answering System DECT3380-3R Review

Uniden Long Range Cordless Telepohone with Digital Answering System DECT3380-3R
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Unlike most Uniden phones, the 3380 has a unified phonebook. This means the same phonebook is shared among all handsets.
There are seven ringtones:
1) Flicker is a piercing ring that will wake the dead
2) Clatter is a more moderate ring
3) Wake Up is mostly moderate with a few piercing notes thrown in
4) Elise, melody
5) Aura Lee, melody
6) Beethoven Ode to Joy, melody
7) We Wish you a Merry Christmas, melody
Had to subtract a star because previous Uniden phones had a much wider selection of ringtones. We especially miss the melody "Call me Sweetheart" from our previous Uniden phone which is great for assigning to your sweetheart. Everyone has a sweetheart, right?
The base unit has a rather piercing beep ringtone which cannot be changed, but you can turn its volume down to zero if you like to eliminate it. You can still hear the call screening (optional) etc even if you turn the ringer volume off.
The holder on the base unit has been improved so a handset will stand in the answering machine more securely and not fall off. This is an improvement over, say, the Uniden 1580.
We really like the 3380 so far.

Built Neoprene Kindle DX Sleeve (Fits 2nd and Latest Generation Kindle DXs), Black Review

Built Neoprene Kindle DX Sleeve (Fits 2nd and Latest Generation Kindle DXs), Black

I like the stretchy and soft feel of the material. I have decided to buy this Sleeve from online based on my previous experience with Built lunch bags (we have purchased several Built lunch bags over the years). At first I did not like the narrower middle section of the Sleeve. After reading other reviews, I have learned that it is designed to protect the corners of the Kindle. Over time, I have begun to like the whole design. Since I like to use my Kindle DX the way it is without any extra "skins". It is very easy to put in or take out my Kindle to and from the Sleeve. And it is very convenient to add this Sleeve into my other hand bags on the go.

Griffin 8051-5GARMB Tempo Sport Armband for iPod Video Review

Griffin 8051-5GARMB Tempo Sport Armband for iPod Video
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
A hearty recommendation NOT to get the Griffin Tempo Armband for iPod Video.
It couldn't be further from what I wanted, other than being an armband. The neoprene is too stetchy on the armband, the velcro pads are poorly spaced, while the opening is way too tight considering the loose fit over the iPod once you manage to get it in. Yes, on the first try I oystered my never-used iPod across the room onto a hardwood floor.
The stitching holding the plastic face to the neoprene and trim is abrasive (my Best Skins Ever skin is already being forcibly peeled off at the edges).
The plastic over the face of the iPod is thick, but flexible. Because it's stitched to neoprene, the result is that it is wavy. It covers not only the screen but the clickwheel too. It makes using the wheel almost impossible, and the glare (reflected from the irregular surface) while watching videos on screen is unbearable.
Oh, and there is no hole to access the dock connector, so I have to squeeze the iPod out of this case and back in every night when I sync it.
This just may be the worst $25 I've ever spent.

Magellan Roadmate 2200T 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished) Review

Magellan Roadmate 2200T 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator (Factory Refurbished)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This device works great. It is a fantastic bargain. It picks up satellites quickly even indoors. The voice system which tells you in advance to expect a turn, what street to turn on, and then signals exactly when to make the turn, is incredible.
The menu system is fairly easy to learn and use. And it has numerous built in shortcuts like remembering previous addresses, and cities, and streets, and figuring out and listing possible street names once you type a few letters. The touch screen is easy to use (once you learn a few tricks, listed below). If you go off course it quickly calculates a new route for you.
Some caveats:
1) Don't expect to be able to read or make changes while this is installed in your car. It would be too distracting to look at while driving, or try to enter information while driving, so its better to just listen for instructions rather than try to follow the visual map.
2) Google the Magellan page to print out a users manual, and read it before you try to use this unit.
3) You have to get used to the instructions. The voice in the machine, tells you you are approaching a turn. That does NOT mean turn at the next intersection. It means be prepared to turn so you can turn when the GPS sounds a tone indicating you have arrived at the intersection to turn at. Unless you realize this you will make a lot of premature turns.
Also it sometimes tells you to continue in _x miles. For example "continue on US101 in .5 miles." Since you are already on US 101 you may wonder why it says that. What you will discover is that in .5 miles the road divides or there is a major exit that you do NOT take. That's why it says continue. The message continue alters you that --even though there is no turn off for you to take --you need to be alert to NOT accidentally take the wrong branch.
4) The touch screen is very sensative to exactly where you touch. For example, if you are on the map page, and want to go to the menu screen you must touch exactly on the highlighed part with the words "menu". If you tough the screen a little bit too high or too the left, you will simply adust the map and get another map screen and wonder why the GPS doesn't seem to work. There is no problem when you touch the exact right areas, but you do have to be exact. With a little practice at home you can learn to use the touch screen without a problem. If you do make a mistake its easy to correct once you realize that the problem is the need to touch the screen in the exact right place.
5) If you hit too many keys too rapidly its possible to freeze the unit.
This is not easy to do, but I did this once when I put it into sleep mode from which I couldn't get it to awake. This is like your computer locking up. Fortunately the solution is simple: Just move the reset button back to off and then back to on-- and your unit will unfreeze and you can turn it on and use it. Your stored data won't be lost. The unit froze only once, but it was good to know the problem could be fixed simply.
6) The unit has feature for photos and music which I haven't used and probably will never use.
Non of the above caveats are problems. Just hints to make it easier to use.
I have had no problems with the unit, which I bought refurbished from Amazon including a $20 rebate which I sent away for but have not yet received.
My one experience with custommer service at Magallen was good. I got someone from India, who helped mu understand what the real serial number was for the rebate form. The number on the back was hard to read, and appeared different from the serial number on the box (I couldn't tell whether one of the numerals was a 5 or 6-- It turned out one was a 5 and one was a six, but I got thru right away and the person at the customer service desk was very patient and totally helpful.
This unit is frequently compared to the TomTom one, which sells refurbished for about the same price.
This unit in contrast to the TomTom one GPS, tells when you are about to turn what street to turn on--which is important for the obvious reason, that you can look for the name of the street on the street sign in advance and to confirm it is where you need to turn, instead of just depending on a tone. For this reason alone, I'd choose this over the TomTom one.

This is a refurbished GPS. Refurbished generally means that the unit has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the navigator back to like new conditions. Some GPS may contain cosmetic blemishes.

If you don't own a car with its own navigation system, and you're tired of looking up destinations on the internet and printing the results--or even worse, stopping to ask for directions--the Magellan 2200T make be just what you're looking for. Its sturdy and easily portable design, simple operation, and multi-function capability make it a great choice for any journey.
Design The Magellan 2200T is compact and solid, making it easy to bring along wherever you go, as well as providing a sense of confidence that it can survive the bumps of bruises that come with the mobile lifestyle. It measures just 3.7 x 2.0 x 0.6 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 7.8 ounces, making it only a little chunkier than your average PDA or Smartphone. The first thing you'll notice on its exterior is almost complete lack of buttons. This is because all interaction with the 2200T happens between the touchscreen and your finger. In the interest of simplicity, there is not even a stylus that can fall to the floor and roll under your the seat of your car. The only button you'll find on the device is the recessed rubber power button on the top right.
All other connections are protected by rubber covers that can be peeled away for access. Below the power button you'll find ports for USB, headphones, and the external power supply. On the left is an SD/MMC card slot, a reset button, and a handy hold button that puts the device in a temporary power-saving mode.
Setup and Interface Setup is as easy as turning the device on, since it comes loaded with maps of the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, and is ready to go right out of the box. We found interacting with the touchscreen to be intuitive and reliable. With this device, there's really no need for a stylus or navigation buttons, which simplifies things on the road. The screen itself is sharp and clear with its 320 x 240 pixel resolution display and support for 64,000 colors. The 2200T comes with a dash or windshield mount, a wall charger, a USB cable, a CD with software for photos and music. Unfortunately, a vehicle charger is not included, however.
The 2200T not only provides audible commands for turns, but is able to indicate street names using a text-to-voice system Magellan calls "SayWhere." We found this to be a very useful feature, especially when attempting to navigate in an unfamiliar city, although some of the street names were difficult to understand, particularly those derived from Spanish.
Navigation The main purpose of any car GPS device is to take you reliably from point A to B. Here the 2200T performs nicely indeed, providing several options for finding your destination. To get going you can select either a street address, a specific point of interest, a destination from the address book, or an intersection (if you're not sure of the exact address). To speed up text entry, the unit employs a QuickSpell feature that displays only the letters that spell an item in its database. This greatly reduces the letters from which you have to choose to tell it where you want to go.
Once it knows where you are headed, the device offers you the choice of shortest time, shortest distance, most use of freeways, or least use of freeways. You'll also find a trip planner that lets you layout and save multiple destinations.
Other Goodies Like a number of other similar devices, the Magellan 2200T also houses an MP3 player and a very nice photo/slide viewer. It's a breeze to drop music files or photos into the folders already located on the included SD card. We found the music player intuitive, with no serious learning curve. You can't listen to tunes and navigate at the same time, however.
The device is also ideal for sharing snapshots of summer vacation with grandma once you make it over the river and through the woods. Colors are crisp and bright, and displaying your photos is idiot-proof for anyone who has ever used a computer or digital camera.
The 2200T is a rugged and functional GPS navigator that is easy to use and reliable. If basic navigation is what you are looking for, and you can do without the bells and whistles of Bluetooth connections and real-time traffic information (although Magellan states that real-time traffic information can be added to the 2200T as an accessory), this could be just the ticket.
Pros
Rugged device with multiple functions and options
Easy to use
Reliable map included on SD card
Includes MP3 Player and Photo Viewer
Cons
Can't listen to MP3 player and navigate at the same time
No bells and whistles

Built E-SCS-MDT Scoop Camera Case (Micro Dot) Review

Built E-SCS-MDT Scoop Camera Case (Micro Dot)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is the second Built NY item that I've bought and I must say, I am continually impressed by the designs offered by this company!
The back of this case is a stiff form-molded tray that cradles your device of choice while still providing the soft cushioned protection you'd expect from this material. Made of neoprene, it is the same material used to manufacture wetsuits. While this design is NOT impervious to water, it would offer some moisture protection in the case of accidental spills or a bit of rain. This material is also stain resistant. The material is naturally stretchy and conforms snugly to the size and shape of the device inside.
The rear of the case has a generous stretchy sewn-in handle that one could easily thread a belt,Velcro strap, or harness through - it also easily accommodates a hand and is actually quite comfortable. I find this to be a smart and flexible feature of the case.
Though marketed as a camera case, this cute little slip-on cover perfectly fits my iPhone (even with a thicker style iPhone cover on the phone). The thinner poly-carbonate cases allow the iPhone to slip in and out of this pouch much easier than those designed with more pronounced anti-slip features or are made of thicker plastic material.

Recently ended up with several thousand family 35 mm slides and promised my brothers I would scan the slides and create a digital collection for each one of them. Received the scanner and after a bit of reading, had the slide scanner up and working relatively quickly. Previously I scanned on an HP Scanjet 5470 and the process was slow and not the best copy quality. I am finding that of the slides I have scanned so far with the Wolverine scanner, they are all coming out on the dark side and require work to optimize contrast, etc. Many of the slides that are winter shots are washing out as if the light source in the scanner is not consistent across the surface. No amount of processing with software has, so far, taken the scanned images to an acceptable image. If I had to do it over, I would invest in a better scanner.

DYMO Label Manager LM260P label Printer, Black /Gray (1754490) Review

DYMO Label Manager LM260P label Printer, Black /Gray (1754490)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been using a label machine since we opened our store three years ago. My label machine of choice back then was the Brother PT-1950 P-touch PC-Ready Labeler for Small Workgroups.
I was grateful to check out the Dymo Label Machine because there were some serious problems with my older machine. Here are the features I really like in the Dymo.
1) Rechargeable batteries included. No need to worry about the batteries, just plug in and keep charged, then when you are ready to go, grab the label machine and take it with you.
2) "Short" ends on the labels. The Brother left over an inch on either side of the labels, and wasted about 50% of the labels I made. Given the cost of the labels, this is a feature that is truly helpful.
3) The ability to easily save the label for re-use later.
4) The "sizing" feature on the Dymo. It is possible to designate a length of label, then ask the Dymo to print the label to that size. This is particularly nice for putting labels on Items I have canned.
5) The "fancy" outline capability on the labels (again, a nice feature for canned goods I enter in the fair). Nice counts.
6) The easy capability of making 2-line labels.
7) The ability to add symbols (Like $ % @) makes it very functional for a store or business.
8) The labels do come in clear, making the mirror image feature (a nice addition) practical for putting the label on the inside of a window or other glass and have it come through in the correct directions.
A couple of areas that disappointed me - small, but I wanted to point them out.
A) You cannot use the Dymo Label Manager while it is plugged in. The adapter it uses is intended ONLY for charging the label machine. So you really DO need to keep those batteries charged for when you are using it.
B) It will take me awhile to get used to the Alphabetic keyboard ...
C) The Brother PT had an "automatic cut" feature, this one must be manually cut by pushing the button hard enough to clip through the label.
* Note - the video is a bit blurry, but I wanted to post it anyway so that you could see some of the features. It's a VERY handy machine!

Built NY E-CLM-BRW Cargo 15" Laptop Sleeve (Brown) Review

Built NY E-CLM-BRW Cargo 15 Laptop Sleeve (Brown)

Before I bought my MacBook Pro last month, I spent a lot of time deciding what kind of case I wanted to go with it. I must have looked through hundreds of cases, messenger bags, and sleeves. Having had some past experience with Built NY (I use one of their lunch bags and my wife and I each use canteens with Built NY sleeves), I knew their products were well-made. I really liked the simple but unconventional look of the Cargo Laptop Sleeve, and the brown and green color combination appealed to me. So I decided to give it a try.
The neoprene sleeve fits the 15" MBP perfectly. It's snug, without straining to enclose it. It provides a nice amount of cushioning both around the edges and on surface areas without adding a lot of size. The flared corner design translates into a little more padding in the corners, where you'd need it in the event of a fall. The interior uses a different material than the exterior neoprene, and is very soft, almost like terrycloth. As with other Built NY products I've used, the stitching is double reinforced and very strong. I was a little worried about the zipper, but it's plastic and secures in such a way that I do not worry about it scratching the aluminum case.
There are three open pockets that secure their contents simply through the stretchiness of the neoprene. In the large pocket I keep my power brick and cord. The medium pocket is perfect for a coiled iPod cable, but would also be a good place to stow the iPod itself. The smallest pocket is ideal for a thumb drive, memory cards, or the Apple remote.
Keep in mind that this is a sleeve (i.e., NO HANDLES OR STRAPS), so toting this long distances is not recommended. But it's perfect for sliding into a backpack, messenger bag, or suitcase, and provides extra protection from whatever else you have in there, or an unforeseen drop or collision. If you do drop it in the mud or something, it's machine washable in cold water.
Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this sleeve to anyone who is looking for a simple means to protect their laptop, and wants a little style and storage to boot.

I've had this phone for a couple months now, bought as a replacement for a 900MHz Uniden that consumed Ni-Cad batteries faster than I liked and had a failing keypad. Sound quality is certainly acceptable but honestly, the 900MHz phones sounded a bit better. Battery standby life is very good thus far; battery talk life is ok. Unit does not use a proprietary battery pack and the two Ni-MH AAA batteries can be replaced w/ any generic Ni-MH AAA batteries if needed. Phone is just thick enough to cradle between head and shoulder if desired but not for extended periods. Speakerphone on the handset seems perfectly acceptable to me and the ability to check messages from the answering machine via the handset on speakerphone is great bit of useful functionality.
User interface is relatively straightforward but the address book is fairly crude and time consuming to populate. Ringtone selection consists of one passable standard tone and a whole bunch of highly irritating novelty ringtones. Overall this is good value and thus far the electronics seem consistent with Panasonic's reputation for making reliable phones. I wish they could put more effort into the visual design and move away from the chromed plastic bits as it still looks like a disposable plastic consumer appliance and something you wish was out of sight.

The Panasonic KX-TG9331T DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Digital Answering Phone System assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. DECT 6. 0, an acronym that stands for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, is a technology that lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. Operating in the 1.9 GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens, and other common household devices.
Expandable to up to six handsets, you can program each handset to ring at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to night mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. The system comes with advanced caller ID2, a feature that allows you to see the ID of an incoming call even if you're already on the line with someone else. There's even a text-to-speech technology, which announces caller ID information between rings.
The system also boasts a talking alarm clock, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a "Please charge phone" reminder. Store the caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list to eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, your unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. The light-up indicator with ringer alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message.
Providing up to five hours of cordless talk time, the handset's rechargeable Ni-MH battery offers up to 11 days of uncharged standby battery life.
What's in the Box Base station, and one handset.

I have had no problems with this phone. The sound quality is fine. I have the base on the second floor and I can use the phone in the yard or in the basement. You should note that the construction of the phone may lead to some problems depending on the dexterity of the user. To use the menu, you often have to push the main button, which is more like a joystick. If it is not pushed correctly, you may make an unintended selection. If the phone is used by those, who are not particularly steady (e.g. those with tremors), you may want to consider another model. Features that I like include flashing when there is a voice mail message, lighting up when it rings (particularly at night), and the number missed calls are indicated on the main screen. It has an answering machine but if you use voice mail, it may not be useful.

SmartShopper SS-301 Voice-Recognition Grocery-List Organizer Review

SmartShopper SS-301 Voice-Recognition Grocery-List Organizer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I received this as a gift from my parents. When I opened the box, I thought, "Great... another item to stick in the closet." Boy, was I wrong!!
From the moment I removed it from the box, I was hooked. My husband and I spent hours just thinking up items to see if they were stored in the device. I can't think of one now that wasn't in there-but the cool thing is, we could add items to it!
I placed the Smart Shopper on my fridge, and was impressed at how strong the magnets were. It's really streamline, so it isn't bulky and in the way-I am always having things knocked off of the fridge by the kids.
Gone are the days of magnetic note pads on the fridge for writing up errands and grocery lists! As I run out of items around the home, I just walk up to the Smart Shopper, and tell it what I'm out of. It even knows the different errands I need to run-I can tell it I need to go to the post office, the bank, the school, dry cleaners, you name it!! It keeps it all stored together until I'm ready to print.
When I'm ready to go shop for the day, I simply print out the list, and it categorizes my grocery items by department-a real time saver when you don't want to backtrack all around the store!:) The print out is clear and easy to read (ever forget your glasses?) and the print-out is on paper like adding machine tape-I just slip it into my purse or wallet, no bulky list to fold up.
It also prints my errands on the same list-which means I don't come back home only to realize I've forgotten my husbands shirts at the dry cleaners, AGAIN-which is a real pain as I live in a rural area-you just don't head back out if you forget something.
I love this product so much, every time someone new comes over, I have to show them my "sanity-saver" as I like to call it. I plan on getting one for my folks for Christmas this year, to reciprocate the favor!!!

The unit features a user-friendly control panel with a digital display, and it can be kept on the refrigerator door or other central location for quick access--no need to track down a pen and paper. To use, either scroll through the 2500+ items in the built-in library by pushing the up/down arrows, then push "select" to add it to the list, or simply press the "record" button and say the item out loud for hands-free operation; the device comes equipped with advanced voice-recognition technology, making it convenient for both younger family members or those who may have trouble writing due to arthritis or other health problems. Add anything from food, beverages, and health and beauty items to cleaning, school, and office supplies. It can even learn new items. The handy time-saving device not only adds items to the list, but it also automatically organizes the list into categories, which helps facilitate more efficient shopping expeditions. Even more, it can keep track of two separate lists simultaneously, can designate quantities and flag items that users have coupons for, and, thanks to its category-management function, can match the list to a store's layout, make changes, and add categories. It even comes with a built-in kitchen timer. When it's time to head to the store, simply press the "print" button for a list that slips easily into a pocket or purse. Save time, money, and frustration--no more second trips for forgotten items or buying excess items that were already in the cupboard. The grocery-list organizer measures 6-2/5 by 3-3/5 by 1-2/5 inches.

I bought 2 printers in the last 2 months both HP and both worked OK with the iPad , however it was a chore to print, many times it would print and others not.
Saw this on Amazon and love the Apple looking HP printer.
It was very easy to set up using just the iPad, not any other computer , took less then five minutes, love it, it has a straight plug and not one of those bricks, the look is very art like and it pretty quiet.
Love that the paper tray is hidden and under the front panel.
The touch screen was very fluid like and was easy to scroll, I have a hidden network and set up was very easy found my network in a minute.
The print quality is very good and it faster then my last 2 HPs both current models.
The bests thing it works flawless with my iPad, I can even print EBay shipping labels which I could not before.
I now feel complete without a MacBook.
